Andrew Ruhren

Andrew Ruhren is an artist/professor who worked in the NYC area for 15 years before moving his family to Japan and buying an English school. This is his first book of illustrated word puzzles which evolved from his teaching experiences there. Although these drawings began as a fun way to engage his young students with vocabulary, they have expanded to include challenges for everyone, even the most advanced puzzle lover. Each detail-packed drawing is overflowing with his love for traveling, history, art, science, music, and food. He is currently working on his second book of illustrated word puzzles based on English word lists of homophones, homonyms, anagrams, and loan words from many different languages.
