Boro Sitnikovski has over a decade of professional experience as a Software Engineer, combining deep technical expertise with a growing passion for the human side of intelligence — psychology, cognition, and emotional growth.
He began programming in Assembly on an Intel x86 at the age of 10, and during high school, he won several competitive programming prizes, including 1st, 3rd, and 4th place finishes. He later graduated in Informatics, completing a Bachelor’s thesis titled “Programming in Haskell using Algebraic Data Structures” and a Master’s thesis titled “Formal Verification of Instruction Sets in Virtual Machines.” He has published several research papers on software verification, with broader interests in programming languages, mathematics, logic, and algorithms.
Boro is a firm believer in the open-source philosophy and contributes to various open-source projects that align with his values of collaboration, transparency, and collective learning.
Alongside his engineering career, he is also pursuing a degree in psychology, motivated by a lifelong curiosity about the mind, behavior, and the intersection between logic and emotion. His interests include self-awareness, Gestalt therapy, emotional intelligence, and the psychology of learning and change. Through both academic study and personal reflection, he explores how awareness, cognition, and metacognition can deepen understanding — not only in software systems but also in human systems.
In his spare time, Boro enjoys spending time with his family, exploring nature, and engaging in creative or philosophical reflection — often blending the analytical precision of an engineer with the introspective curiosity of a psychologist.
