Fiona Mao

Fiona Mao is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Functional Medicine Practitioner. She helps parents overcome the lack of knowledge and dependence on medication for their children while guiding them and their children to their desired health outcomes. Fiona is the creator of Elevate Health Now, a black female-owned virtual health consulting business that focuses on functional medicine modalities and helps parents know how to manage their children’s chronic health challenges.

After assisting two of her children to recover–one who had speech challenges and another with severe allergies and eczema–Mao uses her experience to help other mothers recover their loved ones and themselves from personal chronic health challenges. Mao is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive years ( over 13 years) of experience in the health industry and has special training in Functional Medicine. With a rich knowlege in conventional medicine and integrative medicine, she has helped several families struggling with chronic health challenges in their children.

She is on a mission to help children be free of chronic health symptoms. She has a coaching practice where she helps parents maneuver chronic health challenges as they raise their children. It is her belief that every mother should have the know-how of basic holistic practices to better care for her children. She has an online group program that focuses on functional medicine for parents of children with chronic health issues. When not working, she is spending quality time with her husband and 3 daughters. She loves dancing and the outdoors and has taken up gardening as a hobby with the help of her daughters. Fiona Mao is also a speaker. Her last talk was at the Mindshare Summit during the pandemic.
