Mariano Cointte is an Argentine writer born on June 9th, 1977, in the province of Salta, in the northwest region of the Argentine Republic. From a very young age, he showed interest in creative writing, even writing short stories on a typewriter at the early age of eight. During that time, he also made his first forays into local literature competitions with little to no success mainly due to not writing regional literature.
After a hiatus of two and a half decades, he returned to writing, pouring into his stories the experience of a life full of anecdotes, adventures, and misfortunes.
Mariano Cointte is a University Technician in Occupational Health and Safety, graduated from the National University of Salta. He has also worked for two decades in various industrial areas such as oil, gas, electric power, food products, agricultural products, seismic exploration, chemistry, steel, and insurance.
Currently, he works as a ghostwriter with more than five books under his belt, including scripts for short films.
