Born in 1959 in Worcestershire at RAF 25MU, after school spent 2 years at Kidderminster college studying Art & Design and photography. After a brief 2 years as a printing apprentice, moved to design studios for the next 15 years on drawing board work and finished the last 10 years on magazines. From here I spent 8 years at Cosworth Engineering, then started my own company completelyfloored.co.uk, later on, came roblambertbooks.co.uk.
My first book The Emerald Eye was actually born many years before while in engineering, but what started as a short story became a novel, then the novel became a series of five books. In between these, I wrote the thriller trilogy Your Numbers Up. Whilst all this was going on I was restoring wood floors. Being dyslexic proved a challenge writing books, but dreams will not come true unless one tries to fly!
