As an Afro-Latina, Jennifer believes representation isn't just important, it's essential. Her passion for storytelling was born from a lifelong love of books, and she channels that love into every character she creates and every world she builds.

When she isn't writing her next novel or editing someone else's manuscript, you can find her in the garden daydreaming about books or hunting down the perfect cup of coffee on snow days. She also bakes—because every great story deserves a good snack.
