W. E. Patterson is a native mid-westerner who has called Florida home for decades.
He is a professional technical writer with over 45 years of experience on the 'Fortune 500 corporate treadmill'. When not working as a technical writer, he turns his attention to his creative endeavors. He is the author of the novella "The DUI Guy" and two volumes of poetry, "outrunning the storm", and his latest, "downed lines". He is a huge fan of writer/poet Charles Bukowski, as well as Richard Brautigan, Weldon Kees and Gary Snyder. He loves the beach, fishing from other people's boats, good seafood restaurants, storms, the Rocky Mountains, the Great Plains, and spending time with his wife Mary Jane and their golden retriever, Schooner.
He blogs about poetry, writing, and anything else that interests him at edsendoftheplanetbooks.com
