With two decades of experience in copywriting, advertising, media, branding and marketing, Haranath Ghosh brings a medley of perspectives to his stories — ranging from human emotions and psycho-analytics to suspense and thrill, and even a modern outlook on love.
He is ethnically Bengali by birth but was raised in Delhi. He holds a B.Sc. (H) in Physics from Delhi University and also has an MBA (Marketing) degree and has worked as Head of Marketing in a media group at Johannesburg, South Africa for six years.
Haranath Ghosh has travelled to various parts of the world, and met many interesting people from different cultures, all of which has enriched his observations and writings.
He takes his writing inspiration from writers of varied genres such as, HH Munro ‘SAKI’, Paulo Coelho, Agatha Christie, Oscar Wilde, and Frederick Forsyth to name a few. He is also an ardent fan of classic and ‘neo noir’ English movies directed by the likes of Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, Martin Scorsese, Woody Allen, Orson Welles, Akira Kurusawa, and Ingmar Bergman, among others.
He has drafted many campaigns and ad stories in his illustrated career in India and abroad.
