Jack Calverley

Jack Calverley lives and works in Central London.

His first love was science fiction although now he writes crime as well as SF (using the term broadly as Speculative Fiction, not merely the 'sci-fi' one expects in the movies). He also writes about the nature of consciousness, how far AI can advance without being aware, and the standoff between Art and AI. All of which feed into at least some of the short science fiction stories he writes. Not forgetting that many stories embrace both crime and SF and will evade categorisations such as 'pulp' or 'literary' - really it's a question of does this or that story grab you or not?

Additionally, he hosted the CrimeCityCentral podcast once a week for two years, which is now re-incarnated under Twisted Yarn Audio and aspires to narrate as many of his own stories (and other texts) as he can...
