David Caudell

David “Dave” Caudell is a life long resident of Scott County, Indiana. He’s a pro-wrestling and horror enthusiast. He’s been with his wife, Shannon, for past fifteen years. The couple are huge animal lovers and have many pets.

Dave’s horror inspired character, Emma Stein, stems from a personal issue. Unable to have biological children, two mad scientist’s created their own daughter, Emma Stein.

Growing up Dave always wanted to write for children. In 2022, he made that wish come true when he self published “Emma Stein’s First Day.”

The book was well received by the public, and since then Dave has visited many local schools doing readings.

Some major themes the Emma Stein series hits on are: bullying, adoption, being different, and acceptance.
