Jennifer (Jinks) Hoffmann

Jennifer (Jinks) Hoffmann was born in South Africa in 1943, but has lived in Canada, with her husband Alan, since 1966. Jinks is a spiritual director and a retired psychotherapist. She is the poetry editor for Spiritual Directors International. Poetry writing and work with her dreams are two of Jinks’ best-loved ways of listening for life’s Mystery. Also paying attention to what is numinous in life—the glory and the shmutz. Her poems and essays have appeared in numerous books, newspapers, journals, online publications, and on bookmarks. Her first book is called It’s All God, Anyway: Poetry for the Everyday.
