D. M. Johnson

D.M. Johnson is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor for the state of Maryland. She is also a Certified Grief Informed Professional. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Creighton University.

D.M. Johnson has over 10 years of counseling experience in a variety of mental health settings, including outpatient mental health clinics, community-based programs, and correctional institutions. She holds space for individuals struggling with grief and loss, life stressors, and anger management. She also teaches public safety personnel skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis without compromising safety.

D.M. Johnson resides in the D.C. Metropolitan area with her loving and supporting husband, Lorenzo, and dearest daughter, Zoe.
