Chrissy lives in Bishop's Stortford with her husband David, a retired Electronic Engineer and a keen musician, who assists Chrissy with publication. Having written poems and short stories for pleasure she began to write in earnest following the death of her father. Chrissy originates from St Albans where her first two novels, The Pilgrims Rest and The Caretaker are both set. Her third novel, The Lavender Diaries, is set in Lowestoft, where David hails from, a quintessentially English seaside town close to her heart. Her three grown up children have fled the nest and so life is now a lot quieter and cheaper! Andrew, her eldest, is an aspiring writer (Andrew Goldspink Smith) who lives in Liverpool with his girlfriend Anna. Chrissy's daughter, Hayley is a talented artist who lives in the Faroe Islands with her partner Kii. Hayley’s illustrations adorn all of Chrissy's book covers. Daniel, her youngest, lives in London with his girlfriend Thaïs and is a music producer called Casha Mour. Chrissy is a retired medical secretary, but has worked as a senior secretary in many areas, such as local govenment, the NHS, publishing, and sales. She feels her stint at Psychic News at the Arthur Findlay College definitely had an effect on her!
