D. Daniel Sutherland has been telling stories for decades to anyone willing to listen. It became much easier once he had children, a wonderfully captive audience for the people and creatures living in his head. The children grew up, as children inconveniently do, but the stories never really went away. When life brought him one more little listener, they started tumbling out again.
He now writes playful, rhyming picture books for little listeners everywhere and the grown-ups who read with them. He is also patiently waiting to see whether his children's children might someday become his next wonderfully captive audience. His goal is simple: make story time silly, joyful, and worth repeating. Hopefully, they become the stories your children ask to hear over and over... and over again.
