I'm J.B. Johnson, author of the Regalus Chronicles series. I'm a "regular guy" who enjoys the craft of storytelling and experiencing immersive tales that transport me to different places and times. That's the beauty of stories!

In real life, I also like to explore new "realms" through travel and learning about different cultures. I'm intrigued by how individuals and groups of people interact with each other, and how external forces, such as politics, religion and social constructs, inform those interactions.

My writing focuses heavily on how the realities of life can exist in imagined settings, with imagined technologies, and imagined beings, and the beauty of it all is that I get to write the stories I want to read.
