Jamal Benhamou

Jamal is all sort of things, a language interpreter, IT specialist, avid travel, content creator but most of all he is an Amazigh activist passionate about everything Amazigh. Jamal's move to the United States has sparked a remarkable turnaround and a renewed interest in his Amazigh identity and background. He has been writing and creating videos educating people about a people that have long been forgotten; the Amazigh people.

Jamal was born in Morocco and has been living in the US since 2009. Jamal has a BA in Linguistics from Hassan II University, a second bachelors in International relations from the University of West Florida, and is currently pursuing graduate studies in Linguistics at Florida State University.

When he is not writing, or making videos, Jamal spends his time taking long road trips across the United States. Jamal has a plethora of interests, He is an avid reader of anything that involves psychology, religion, linguistics, programming, you may also catch him riding his electric unicycle zipping through town with his Siberian husky named Zane.
