Dr. Mark Brunner

Annette Hee Brunner was born in France in 1932 and emigrated to the U.S. in 1948. She married Larry Brunner in 1950, had a career as a hair stylist and helped her husband in the family fabric business. Annette resides in Ohio. At the urging of her son Mark, she wrote the memoir of growing up in northwestern France during the Nazi occupation of France. Annette recounts family life, French culture, spiritual influences and the Nazi occupation of her town. The stories and recollections span 1932-1950. Her son, Mark, is a professor of Educational Leadership at Saint Leo University and resides in Florida. Dr. Brunner is a graduate of the University of Florida and holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership.
