A.D. Guier

Alex D. Guier is the author of the ongoing (debut) fantasy novels, Emblem Series. The first of them, "The Coward's Emblem", was published in 2022. She has plans for many other stories and worlds to come.

Born outside Modesto, California, Alex has also lived in South Korea and China, and has run a book club in every city she's ever lived in. She has been an active member of dramatic groups since high school, including the Vagina Monologues and MMRP. Writing has been her passion since she was 13 years old and posting Dragonball Z and Sailor Moon fanfiction online. Vast amounts of Dungeons & Dragons, Star Wars, multiple fantasy series, and her background in Latin/Linguistics studies have shaped every character Alex has ever created. And it is from the characters that her stories spring.

When not writing, Alex is an English teacher currently living in Wuxi, China, where she is owned by her two cats.
