I recently moved to Bloomington, Illinois with my with lovely with Jenni. Don't be fooled. I called the south side of Chicago home for 52 years.I lived all that time in the house my parents bought, two years before I was born. I'm Chicago born and bred. I live and die with the fortunes of the Bears, the Bulls, and the White Sox (not the Cubs, sorry). I graduated form Avalon Park Elementary (83), Whitney Young Magnet High School (87) and Columbia College Chicago (93). Writing is my life. I aim to do it well. I write to entertain, inform, and stimulate..I don't do boring. I try to blow minds. I consider a blown mind a good thing. Once your head is open, it is ready to receive new information. The possibility of positive growth is endless.

I'm very interested in the future. The world as we know it is changing before our eyes. Some people choose to keep their eyes closed and hope for the best. That simply will not do. We need to face these changes with open eyes and our voices speaking. Otherwise the future will happen to us and not by our own design. Decisions will appear to have been made by outside, otherworldly forces, and perhaps, in the future, they will be. I hope to keep the flash light shinning into the dark corners. I hope to document everything for as long as free speech is allowed. I hope to keep the conversation going.
