Kristina Young

Kristina Young is a machine learning engineer from Bulgaria, Venezuela, and South Africa; currently living in London, UK. She writes poetry and prose (both fiction and non-fiction) often inspired by travel. Her work ranges from modern folkloric tales to dystopian science fiction and travel memoirs.

Her creative writing has been published on AllegoryRidge, Lumina Journal, Schlock, and Poet's choice. She has published two satirical fantasy books. In Search of Beira’s Hammer is Kristina’s debut novella and RED RIBBON WINNER at The Wishing Shelf Book Awards. The Fifth Indaba is Kristina's second book, taking place in the Drakensberg, South Africa. It takes the reader on a journey of South African Folklore through a career changing conference for legendary creatures.
