In her late 20s, during her 17-year career in “fashion week” production, Robyn Vie-Carpenter-Brisco became inspired by the healing powers of amber after a chance encounter at a New York City jewelry store. That unexpected meeting led her to see there was something very precious in semi-precious stones. 20+ years and several certifications later, in 2017, this self-proclaimed hippie diva was motivated to write, "Let's Get Stoned - using stones and crystals to create a life that rocks", a book about the power of using the energy of stones and how to consciously integrate them into one’s life daily to create the life that you vision for yourself. As she says, “a life that rocks!”
"Prior to beginning work with stones and crystals, I was ungrounded, full of fear, and generally judgmental of myself and my life. I was never enough. I call it the time of my shiny veneer. From the outside, if you didn’t get too close, ask too many questions, or try to come to my house, you would be sure that I was feeling spectacular about my life and in my life. I thrived off of external admiration and validation because I didn’t think that the “real Me” was admirable or valid. Now I not only admire and validate myself. I help others do the same for themselves."
Robyn has a degree in business, is a certified spiritual life coach, a Laughter Yoga instructor, and a Licensed Spiritual Practitioner Candidate with Heart and Soul Center of Light in Oakland, Calif.
Robyn’s clients are from all over the country and span different industries. They are artists, fashion models, C-suite executives, Fortune 500 company senior executives, actresses, and Directors of Education. Robyn says, “I work with the person, not their profession. I’m here to see beneath the shiny veneer.”
April 20, 2022, Robyn became an international best-selling author when her latest book project, Awakened Leaders - Empowering Stories of Self-Healing, Triumph, and Transformation was released. Her chapter titled “How I Became the Goddess of Joy”, tells the inspiring story of her journey from jilted to joyful, misery to marriage.
Robyn has been featured in the New York Times, and her writing has been seen in Outfront Colorado, curvemag.com, Desert Outlook magazine, LA Yoga Magazine, Bustle.com, and The Huffington Post blog. Robyn currently has several projects in the works including new television production and her next book project.
