Debbie Hall

Debbie Hall’s poetry has been published in the San Diego Poetry Annual, Poets Reading the News, Writers Resist, Bird’s Thumb, Gyroscope Review, Hawaii Pacific Review, Arlington Literary Journal, Pulse and elsewhere. She is the author of What Light I Have (2018, Main Street Rag Books) and award-winning chapbook, Falling into the River (2020, The Poetry Box). Her first book of poetry for children, In the Jaguar’s House, was released in March 2022 by The Poetry Box. Her photography has been published in The National Humane Review (a 2009 photo contest winner), The San Diego Union Tribune, Pulse: Voices from the Heart of Medicine and in other literary journals. Her essays have appeared on NPR (This I Believe series), in USD Magazine, and the San Diego Union Tribune.
