In her words...

I struggled for a long time to figure out my why. Why do I draw cute and quirky art? Why do I write? Those questions kept nagging me. I guess, like a lot of folks, I want to leave something behind. Something that makes a difference, something lasting.

Then I'd respond to myself with, "How could lighthearted illustrations with a little girl and her mini mule make a difference in the world? Not saving souls or solving world hunger." Right. My important legacy I leave is sharing my love for Christ. But what about the stories? The art? What's the why?
