Evonne J. Torrence

As a teenager in the 1980s, Evonne Torrence was inspired by Susan L. Taylor’s “In the Spirit”, a monthly column in Essence Magazine that lasted more than two and a half decades. Captivated by Ms. Taylor’s written voice of spiritual inspiration and personal transparency, Evonne was drawn to all things inspirational like a moth to a flame!

Lacking the VISION to pursue her dream; Evonne settled for a safe path to success by attaining a Master of Science degree and devoting several years to working in various administrative positions. However, grateful for her blessed success, her desire to live a purpose-driven life remained unfulfilled until she discovered her niche.

As a visionary enthusiast, Evonne pursues her greatest passions through fictional storytelling inspired by biblical events, and encouraging others to accept their gift of salvation!

Evonne enjoys sharing her life with her husband Harrell and is a proud mother of three beautiful adult souls, Jonelle (Victoria), Ashley (Jason), and Cecily! Her superhero role is sharing her love with her four beautiful grandchildren, Jasmine, Javien, Jordyn, and Isaiah.
