Juha Rahkonen

I’m an indie author from Finland. I publish my multiverse and large‑scale worlds under the name J.R. Craft, while all my other books come out under my real name Juha Rahkonen. I write across genres and also translate my own work.

I started writing in 1996 and finished my first book in 2002. The Lord of the Rings sparked my love for fantasy, and that passion has carried me through more than twenty books. I enjoy moving between worlds, tones and styles — from dark fantasy to grounded stories, from poetry to crime.

My first crime novels are on the way, expanding my catalogue even further. Whether I’m building universes or writing standalone tales, I follow the same principle: write with feeling, write with rhythm, and let every world stand on its own.
