I was born in The Bronx, but I grew up in Yonkers, which many consider to be The North Bronx, so for all practical purposes a lateral move. After navigating through sixteen years of Catholic schools, I graduated from Villanova University with a degree that had absolutely nothing to do with what I wound up doing for a living, but from what I can remember, I still believe it was parental money well spent. I was relocated by marriage to Long Island, where I’m writing and empty-nesting with my artist wife.
As for how I wound up an author, looking back, I guess it was inevitable because I've been writing all my life, mainly in the confines of the sales and marketing company that I owned for thirty years, but that was like composing military music handcuffed to a radiator. However, it taught me to keep it interesting and get to the point fast. These two skills seemed to be the key to writing until I discovered the real key…love what you do.
