Eamonn Carey

Eamonn Carey is an entrepreneur and investor. He is a General Partner at Tera Ventures, where he invests in pre-seed and seed deals in the Nordics, Baltics and beyond. He was formerly a Managing Director at Techstars in New York and London, as well as a partner at The Fund. As an angel and VC, he has invested in close to 100 companies across Europe, the United States, Africa and Asia.

He started his career as a journalist, before starting his first company in 2007. After a mix of success and failure, he moved into mentoring and supporting startups in 2012, joining Techstars as an MD in 2015. He is a regular speaker at major international events including SXSW, Web Summit, Mobile World Congress, Slush and many more.
