Bruce Meisterman

The Light Inerrant is the latest book from Bruce Meisterman. Imagine if all light in the world disappears only to return momentarily later. And then it happens again and again. The world is not ready for this nor what it means. Light's activity has implications well beyond the darkness; there are those who will not readily embrace them. But, do they have a choice?

A Coward's Guide to Living, a coming-of-middle-age story, is Bruce’s first book of fiction. A number of incidents in the book are based on actual events and while the characters are fictional, some are based on individuals he’s known.

In 2012, his book, Arn? Narn., a non-fiction, photo and written word documentary about vanishing rural Newfoundland was published. Arn? Narn. was named the English magazine Fishing Book Reviews Book of the Month in November, 2012. He was also a featured author at the Southern Festival of Books.

As a photographer, he’s been published in such publications as the New York Times, New Beauty magazine, Yankee magazine, Delaware Today, and the Sun magazine. His work has been exhibited in numerous galleries, collections, and museums.

Moving from photography to writing was not much of a jump as Bruce was an award-winning copywriter during his time in advertising. One benefit of that was the realization a laptop was a lot lighter than a bagful of cameras.

Currently, Bruce resides in Memphis, Tennessee.
