Ernest Schmidt

Dr. Ernest J. Schmidt graduated from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in Owatonna, Minnesota and received his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from Central Theological Seminary in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He also did further graduate work at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.

Dr. Schmidt has served as a pastor for over twenty-five years in Minnesota, Montana, Alaska, and Iowa. He taught at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in Owatonna, Minnesota, Northland Baptist Bible College in Dunbar, Wisconsin, and Faith Baptist Theological Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa and was an adjunct professor at Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He served as the Dean and after retirement served as Interim President at Faith Baptist Theological Seminary.

Dr. Schmidt has led seventeen tours to Israel and has also led tours to Bible locations in Turkey and Greece. He has taught Bible and related courses in Romania, India, Peru, and Ukraine. Dr. Schmidt loves to share truth from the Bible. He currently holds Bible and prophetic conferences and serves in interim pastorates.

Dr. Schmidt has authored three adult quarterlies for the North Star Baptist Sunday School Lessons and has written articles in various Christian publications. He was a contributing author to The Pastor a Guide for God's Faithful Servant published by Regular Baptist Press.
