Richard Ettinger

Richard Ettinger grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia in the old, free post-war America. Cars, overburdened with chrome and purposeless fins roamed the street chugging down a gallon of high-test every five miles or so. There were no airport security lines, most people were afraid to fly. There were no safety seals on Tylenol, no shrink wrap, no color flat screen TVs or a struggling sports league called the NFL. A far different place than we find ourselves in now.

Richard graduated from Columbia College in Chicago, a Film and Television Production major. Ironically, his favorite course, the one he excelled in most was a creative writing course taught by the late, great John Schultz. Richard had another path he just had to follow. It led him to positions in broadcast television in Boston, Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh. And to post production companies in Toledo, Fort Wayne and Denver.

Richard is the divorced father of four. He currently resides in the California desert with his dogs.
