Dr Claude H Trottier

Dr. Claude H Trottier obtained his Ph.D. in physical organic chemistry. He did post-doctoral work in steroid biochemistry on an NIH Fellowship. He served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Chemical Corps. He worked for American Hoechst and the U.S. Naval Underwater Weapons Systems. He joined Geigy in 1968 as a Senior Development Chemist. He had many assignments in Ciba Geigy: Basel, Switzerland, Cranston Production Manager, McIntosh Development Manager, Ilford Development (a Ciba-Geigy subsidiary), Director of Corporate Development, Cranston Plant Manager, Vice President Plastics and Additives, Vice President Dyestuff and Chemicals, Vice President Production and Engineering Services and Vice President Ciba Specialty Chemicals.
