Samar Wade is the author of Lenten Cookbook: Quick & Easy Vegan 40 Recipes for 40 Days, The Roman Forum, The Palatine Hill, and Rome's Historic Center. Also, she edited Hamster World Attacks. A retiree from teaching music in public schools for 30 years, she received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Murray State University and Master's Degree in Music from Wayne State University. Now residing in Michigan, she pursues her interests in Italian and Arabic languages, culture, travel, food, ancient history around the Mediterranean, and music (believe it or not).
