Michael Bentum

Since moving to the United States in 2014, Michael lives each day with a passion for prayer and the joy-filled heart of an evangelist. Alongside working as an electrician Michael pastors Lakeside Ministries also known by locals as ‘church in the park’, a vibrant and growing ministry in Northern California reaching many with God’s love. In 2018 Michael’s family lost their home and belongings when everything burned to the ground during one of California’s devastating wildfires. While this was a shocking setback, the following months demonstrated afresh that God is good even when everything else disintegrates. God moved through friends and strangers alike putting the practical pieces of life back into place. Together with his devoted wife Bobbi and their two incredible children, the Bentums continue to live for Jesus and spread the light of His Kingdom everywhere they go.
