Guy Aston

Guy Aston is an author whose journey into writing was sparked by a fascination with the Bar Kokhba Revolt (132AD-136AD), a historical event he discovered through reading. This newfound interest led to a dream that eventually turned into his first novel, published in 2022. Guy's passion for writing is deeply influenced by his admiration for the Roman era, a love kindled by Colleen McCullough, an accomplished surgeon and author known for the First Man in Rome series. He credits McCullough, along with Bernard Cornwell, for making historical periods accessible and engaging through their meticulously researched novels.

Guy's own writing focuses on historical fiction. He also has a keen interest in esoteric history topics such as early Christianity and the sacred bloodline debates. His books aim to provide readers with an accurate, yet accessible, introduction to a little-known historical period, much like his literary inspirations have done for him.

In addition to his writing, Guy has a broad and eclectic taste in music. They range from period pieces to modern genres like rock and 'epic' music, showcasing his diverse interests beyond the written word.
