Trivess is a Senior lecturer in the Sustainable Building Innovation Laboratory in the School of Property, Construction and Project Management at RMIT University (Melbourne). His research explores how we can transitions to a low carbon housing future, with a focus on the intersection between technical solutions, households and their practices and the role of policy in delivering improved quality and performance in new and existing housing. He is currently working on a number of projects which are based upon monitoring and evaluating sustainable housing and compact cities more broadly.
