Harry Giller is the pseudonym of a Humberside Police Inspector who retired after more than thirty years service. In that time he performed numerous roles including in uniform and as a detective.
As a firm believer that many of us have a book in them he determined to have a go himself. Harry is an avid reader of crime fiction and a big fan of Michael Connelly and Lee Child. With that in mind, and his background, it is no surprise that Harry chose crime as the right genre for his first novel False Witness. The book is a work of imagination and not based on any true life incidents or people, although some readers have suggested differently.
It is hoped that Harry's experience as a police officer allows him to give readers an insight into crime and criminals along with those who try to capture them. Long experience shows that the good guys don't always win!
His second novel Evil Knows No Bounds was published in 2024. Harry tries to show that there are no lengths hardened criminals will not go to in order to achieve their ends, caring little for anyone who gets in their way.
The third novel, concentrating on police corruption, will hopefully be published in autumn 2025.
