Simon Thoores

Simon Thoores is a cybersecurity analyst specialized in forensics and incident response.

After he obtained an engineering diploma in information architecture at EFREI, he started a position as Security engineer to build and develop SIEM.

Then he moved to a large-scale MSSP, to work as SOC Analyst where he confirmed his skills in SIEM technologies and began to perform large-scale incident response and forensics analysis.

He passed his GCFA and realized that Cyber threat intelligence is mandatory to better respond to Advanced Persistent Threat.

For him, being able to understand threat actors' tactics, techniques and procedures is important to prepare defenses and security controls. But these controls need to be tested and improved using adversary emulation and collaboration

Finally, he loves to speak at conferences and workshops to popularize incident response and purple teaming.
