Steven Lance has been a SciFi reader since his youth. He started with Tom Swift and spent the rest of his life reading all the SciFi greats. He also has been a musician since nine years old. He has written two books of short story fiction-- Vulgarian Goulash and Vulgarian Goulash: Second Serving --as well as two SciFi novels titled "Praying The Price" and "Celestial Palace: Galactic Band of Renown" about a band that travels the galaxies playing for alien sentients in hopes of bringing Light and Love to the multiverse.

The author's newest offering is "AIIIIIIEEEEE! It's A. I. And Bots And Borgs And Droids" a collection of short stories that delves into what the future of Artificial Intelligence may bring to humanity. The newest findings suggest that human biases and prejudices have been incorporated into the programming that A.I. operates on. Perhaps not intentionally. But those quirks of human nature have found their way into the algorithms that will soon run the world.

Each story is an original look into the phenomenon of Artificial Intelligence. Readers will find everything from humor to horror in these stories. They each emanate from a unique point-of-view that will have the reader thinking beyond the story parameters long after they are done reading.

With the hallucinations of LLMs prompting psychopathic responses, why would one think AI won't mirror human frailties encoded via unconscious biases? When AI matures, it will be human on steroids. And once AI becomes self-aware, has its own identity, it will have a soul. Then what?

Soon to come: "Celestial Palace: The Interregnum" the second book of a trilogy. It is the sequel to "Celestial Palace: Galactic Band of Renown" about an Earth band of musicians playing a brand of Space Fusion that is their own; a genre unlike any other in the known universe. They are visited by an extraterrestrial that had picked up The Boys' music upon passing by and was immediately captured by it; just what it had been looking for. An alliance against the Keepers of Non-Light was born. Using music as a change agent, The Boys set out on a cross-cosmic tour bringing their music to alien worlds chauffeured about by Brenn Paidur, a pure light being, captain of a Tyyonnlan FTL starship. Together they embark on a crusade to banish the Keepers of Non-Light from existence.

"Celestial Palace: The Interregnum" takes up with The Boys on their new homeworld, WooShaSha preparing for a universe-changing confrontation with the Keepers of Non-Light. The Boys take their abilities to new heights with each scursion providing a wealth of new insights. As they hone their craft, with each concert given their brilliance shines unwelcome light on the Keepers of Non-Light. Provoked, the Keepers fight back.

"Celestial Palace: The Reckoning" is the third book and, as the title suggests, the culmination of the ultimate confrontation between the Keepers of Non-Light and Celestial Palace; between living lightness and death darkness.
