Miranda P. Yeoh

Miranda P. YEOH is a Penang-born Peranakan whose ancestors have lived in Malacca and Penang, the “Pearl of the Orient,” for six centuries. Writing prose and poetry has been her go-to method of expressing her emotions since her teenage years. She pursued a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. while teaching in school. A college promotion allowed her opportunities to research. Her research aims at improving the quality of Teaching and Learning. After retirement, she served in the Research and Development Division at SEAMEO RECSAM for a year; she published 26 more papers related to science education, learning, entrepreneurship, global citizenship, and ethical research. Her research papers are available on Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and Academia Edu. She loves writing research papers, poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. She is thankful to God for meaningful days of writing on daily challenges realizing that writing facilitated her in living a purposeful life!
