IAN WALKER

Ian Walker was born in Sydney, Australia but has spent most of his life in the UK. He was, for 26 years, Headmaster of one of the world's oldest schools (founded in 604 AD) and has taught in universities in the UK and USA. His doctorate is in Philosophy and he has two books in philosophy published in the USA along with dozens of papers worldwide in learned journals. Ian is a Freeman of the City of London, his livery company is the Apothecaries and his club is the Athenaeum.

Ian is married to Kerrie, a mathematician turned lawyer; they have a daughter, Hilary, who works in cyber-security in Sydney. Ian and Kerrie live in a small, rural village just outside Oxford.
