Marina Nitze

Marina Nitze is a crisis engineer and Partner at Layer Aleph. Crises are no longer rare events—they are the operating environment. Marina and her team embed directly inside organizations during their hardest moments, working hands-on-keyboard, moving from reaction to repair—from chaos to capability.

Marina previously served as Chief Technology Officer of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and helped found the United States Digital Service. She is the author of Hack Your Bureaucracy (Hachette, 2022) with Nick Sinai, and creator of TaskTackler, the personal productivity app for people who love lists. She lives in Seattle, WA.
