Over 15 years ago, Inham Hassen discovered the project management profession by accident. Since then, he has had the opportunity to work with large and small organizations, to deliver projects in the UK, Europe, South Asia, Far-East Asia and Africa. He has successfully rolled-out telecommunications networks, integrated multi-million-dollar companies post merger, deployed core banking systems for financial institutions, managed the rapid roll-out of services to meet demands set by for COVID-19 and led the digital transformation of organisations. In addition to delivering projects and programmes for one of UK's largest public-sector establishments, he is also a non-executive director of a non-profit organisation that specialises in providing impartial, independent, and confidential advice to assist people with legal, debt, consumer and other problems in the UK.
Inham has a masters’ degree in IT Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and an electrical engineering degree from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (India). He possesses a PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, MoP Practitioner, P3O Practitioner, P3.express Practitioner and PMO Value Ring Certified Practitioner certifications.
Inham actively works with the global project management community to enhance the profession. Between 2018 and 2021, he was a judging committee member of the annual award for the world’s best-run project management office (organised by the PMO Global Alliance) and he is a reviewer for P3.express, a European Commission-funded minimalistic project management methodology and the author of a MoP Foundation study guide. He created the world’s first MoP Foundation exam simulator and the world’s first and only Wiki for Project Portfolio Management (MoP.wiki). He is an accredited trainer for PRINCE2, MoP and P3.express.
He was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts in 2021.
