Dr Susan Augustine

Dr. Susan Augustine is a special education professional who has instructed children and adults throughout the United States and Singapore. Working in this capacity led her to discuss how the brain's nutrients and biochemistry engage in mood, memory, behavior, and learning. Thus, turned her attention to brain research and earned a Ph.D.

After years of teaching graduate students, she returned to the classroom, and recently set her sights on writing and illustrating children's books. You can currently find, "What's My Job?" Little Max Learns a Big Idea, on Amazon . The second book in the series,"Where Do You Live?" Little Max Learns Another Big Idea, is coming in September 2022 on Amazon.

Sue enjoys, painting, writing, cooking, gardening, weightlifting, walking, tutoring, opera, and rodeos. She lives with her husband Bill, also an author, and her cat Julie.
