Jeff Colvin

With over 25 years as a management consultant and workshop facilitator, Jeff Colvin has lead individuals, teams, and organizations to achieve their strategic goals. Jeff has provided services to a diverse set of clients and cultures in over 20 countries for both Stanford and Duke Universities. He has trained over 10,000 employees of all levels from CEOs to new hires and has coached a number of other instructors and consultants over the years to become equally successful.

Jeff is a member of Korn Ferry’s On Call Employee (OCE) group and is currently a master trainer delivering courses nationally and internationally for the Adaptive Strategy Execution Program (ASEP). He has received very favorable feedback from both his in person and virtual course deliveries.

In addition to his work with Korn Ferry, Jeff Colvin runs his own consulting business, D3Strategy. Through executive coaching, team building, and process improvement, he assures strategic alignment and success. Jeff has also designed and delivered his own curriculum on collaborative leadership and high performing teams that he has conducted on Stanford University campus. Jeff’s work with Stanford goes back over 10 years with both the Stanford Center for Professional Development and the Stanford Continuing Studies program.

Jeff approaches all of his client interactions as a catalyst such that he provides the spark that brings the talent and expertise together for the organization. His ultimate goal is not only to achieve desired results, but to assure that the client personnel can continue their improvement and success after his transition. Jeff continues to reinforce the importance of leveraging the talent that already exists in an organization by enhancing their skills and empowering their actions.

Jeff grew up in Silicon Valley and was the first local hire in a start up management consulting firm. He helped cultivate newly hired consultants, and as a partner, helped grow the business to over 35 employees. He has gone on to create his own consulting practice and continues to provide value to start ups and Fortune 500 companies.

Jeff has held a board member seat on the Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce and been very active in expanding their networking programs as well as running the Business Owners Forum that he created. He has contributed to a number of distinct groups through his guest lectures on teamwork and leadership. His message consistently reinforces the need, not just for learning, but for doing.

Jeff is a 4th generation San Franciscan that earned his Bachelor degree at UC Davis and went on to get an MBA at California State University, Sacramento. He currently is an active member of the Mentoring Club which supports and guides successful paths for recent college graduates. He has also recently completed his first book entitled, “A Leader's Guide to Consultant Cliches (or How to be Your Own Best Consultant)”.
