Maggie Julien

Maggie's life long passion for all things equine, the environment, flora and fauna and being surrounded by beautiful beaches and countryside, inspired her to write her first Novel, Where Are All The Butterflies?

Maggie's writing has been hugely influenced by her childhood having grown up playing in the countryside and escaping to a farm where she could indulge in her passion for horse riding and the great outdoors. She also loved reading and on a rainy day would very often be found engrossed in a book.

Where Are All The Butterflies, will transport the readers to a mystical place of animals, untamed lands, oceans and lush pastures. There is a little comedy and some romance which includes an underlying message about caring for our planet and the environment we live in.

With a lot of hard work as a Legal Secretary and Coroner's Clerk as well as qualifying as a Florist Maggie fulfilled her dream of moving to a small holding in Wales where she married.

When she is not working or writing Maggie still enjoys horse riding and cares for her two ponies, her cheeky French Bulldog and her two rescued cats.

Maggie continues to create wonderful floral displays for weddings and other occasions. When she can, she spends as much time as possible in her garden. She has established beautiful borders filled with shrubs and flowers creating a habitat for the insects, bees and of course the butterflies.
