Gary Richied

Gary Richied was not always a troublemaker; he grew into the role in adulthood. Gary served as an Adjunct Professor of History at Loyola University-Chicago and taught American and European History at Fenwick High School in Oak Park, Illinois. He is a published author in the fields of history, economics, theology, philosophy and social science, addressing subjects ranging from the economics of the Chicago Black Sox Scandal of 1919 to the patristic theology of the fourth century.

His latest work (published July 2022) is A TWISTED HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES, 1450-1945. It is a rollicking revisionist history that challenges the establishment narrative on American history; a narrative that, if true, sure leaves many questions about the present, unanswered. Prior to embarking on his history and teaching career, he earned his B.A. in History and French from Loyola University-Chicago, his M.A. in Social Science from the University of Chicago, and his M.A. in Theology from the Aquinas Institute of Theology in Saint Louis.

Gary hails from Chicago, but has also lived in Rome, Italy, Memphis, Denver and Saint Louis. He is an avid golfer, traveler and fan of the Chicago White Sox, even (or more so, especially) the 1919 version of them.

He is an ardent, even fanatical adherent of the Austrian school of economics and liberty movement, drawing wisdom and inspiration from the greats of both, past and present; namely, Ludwig von Mises, Murray Rothbard, Guido Hulsmann, Hans Hermann Hoppe, Ron Paul, Lew Rockwell, Jeff Deist, Tom Woods, and Dave Smith.
