Peter Krizsan

Peter Krizsan grew up in the town of Saugeen Shores. He is a husband and a father of two. He attended Fleming College for Police Foundations and then Durham College for Advanced Law where he graduated with honours. He currently serves as a Police Constable with a specialty in Scenes of Crime (SOCO). Being a Police Officer has given him an opportunity to give back to his community.

Through policing, Peter has attended calls where children were being neglected. At each of these calls he strives to connect with the children and create a positive moment for them. These experiences, while heartbreaking, have been some of the most rewarding in Peter's career.

The combination of these experiences and his love of reading books to his own young children sparked the idea for the character, "Pete The Cop".

Peter hopes that he can bring some positive light to the policing career and help to build relationships between the police and their respective communities.
