Robert Sampson has dedicated his life to teaching and learning from Pashtuns. He has taught as an O and A level science teacher at Edwardes College, Peshawar from 1989-2009. He has an MA in Pashto poetry from Nottingham University and a PhD from Birmingham University. He is the author of a range of books about Pashto, including a language manual, a dictionary and, in collaboration with Momin Khan, a translation of the Diwan of Rahman Baba. He lives in Pakistan with his wife where together they support the work of schools, Universities and hospitals.
