American Writer Clyde David Jones is a prolific and dedicated author who has been blessed to have written 26 outstanding books. Author Clyde David Jones was honored by The African American Arts Alliance of Chicago, IL in October 2019 with a prestigious BLACK EXCELLENCE AWARD for outstanding achievement for his novel titled "RACHEL'S CHILDREN." In addition, a copy of his book titled "THE CRIME BOSS" was purchased by Lori Lightfoot, the current mayor of the city of Chicago. His book titled "THE REVELATIONS OF MY MOTHERS-AN AMERICAN CLASSIC" was read during the Naperville, IL Neuqa Valley High School's African American Read-In as one of their featured books in February 2011.

Author Clyde David Jones enjoys traveling and speaking to groups such as book clubs, schools, and church groups. He has been the guest of several radio programs including Chicago's "Let the Elders's Speak" with the Host Lorenzo Young on the Urban Broadcasting Media Show. Mr. Jones has also appeared as a guest on the Chicago State University's WCSU Radio Program on I-Heart Radio with radio personalities Zola Wright, Gregory Vance, and the late Marian Hayes.
