Donna Tornoe served as the Director for Panama Veterans at the Military-Veterans Advocacy during the PACT Act passage. She is co-author of the paper on contamination of the Panama Canal -- Olson, K.R. and Tornoe, D. (2021) Long-Term Environmental Impacts of Pesticide and Herbicide Use in Panama Canal Zone. She is the author of Travels of Orange and other toxins after finding 152 pages of shipping records showing “agent orange” shipped to Panama. She is co-author and editor of Agent Orange Environmental Health and Human Impacts of Herbicide Use During and After Vietnam.
Donna lived in the Panama Canal Zone as an Army wife 1974-1977 at Fort Davis on the Atlantic side of the Isthmus. She has made it her life passion to find out why so many Panama veterans are ill. After finding 152 pages of shipments of "Agent Orange" to Panama, she now knows why and is advocating to help those injured veterans who have been forgotten.
